Monoblock stoppers
The monoblock stopper (MBS) is used to control the steel flow through the tundish nozzle.
It is made of magnesia-carbon or alumina-carbon, with special compositions in the tip and slag section to meet customer requirements.
SEN / SES
SEN (Submerged Entry Nozzle) and SES (Submerged Entry Shroud) are designed to protect the steel flow from the tundish to the mold.
•SEN is fixed inside the tundish and also functions as a nozzle.
•SES is mounted externally to the tundish nozzle.
