Nozzles and well blocks
We provide a wide range of high-performance nozzles and well blocks, ensuring efficiency and safety in production processes.
We offer different models of hysostatic tubes, including:
Ladle Shrouds, Monoblock Stoppers, SEN, and SES. These products are specifically designed to control and protect the steel flow, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
New & regenerated plates
In the field of sliding gate plates, we have outstanding expertise. Our skills are evident in the production of high-quality new plates.
What makes us unique is our innovation in the regeneration service. In this sector, we are pioneers, offering regenerated plates with performance and quality comparable to new ones, but at significantly lower costs.
Slide gate valves
In addition to plates, our expertise extends to the design and installation of sliding gate valves, including FT160 and FT200 models.
We actively collaborate with our clients to identify the ideal sliding gate system, tailoring it to their specific requirements and production needs. Additionally, we offer argon-inerted GT models, ensuring maximum steel protection and superior safety during the casting phase.
Hysostatic tubes
Ladle shrouds
These are used to protect and control the steel flow from the ladle to the tundish.
Made from high-quality alumina carbon, they can be used for both hot and cold start-ups. The high quality ensures superior performance. The ladle tubes are custom-designed to meet each customer’s specific needs.
Monoblock stoppers
The monoblock stopper (MBS) is used to control the steel flow through the tundish nozzle.
It is made of magnesia-carbon or alumina-carbon, with special compositions in the tip and slag section to meet customer requirements.
SEN / SES
SEN (Submerged Entry Nozzle) and SES (Submerged Entry Shroud) are designed to protect the steel flow from the tundish to the mold.
•SEN is fixed inside the tundish and also functions as a nozzle.
•SES is mounted externally to the tundish nozzle.
The body is made of alumina-carbon quality, while the seating and slag zone are produced in different qualities based on customer needs, including zirconia-carbon and magnesia-carbon.
Refractory bricks
Puma Refrattari exclusively distributes refractory bricks for wear lining and safety in ladle furnaces and converters.
We carefully select the best factories for the supply of refractory bricks, working closely with manufacturers to customize quality and formats based on specific needs and applications.
Our range includes all formats made of:
• Magnesia-carbon
• Fired and unfired aluminous
• Fired and resin-bonded dolomite
Additionally, Puma Refrattari can provide all types of monolithic materials, cement, and spray masses.
